I'm home!!!! I'm so totally home and out of the hospital. I'm so ecstatic to finally be able to be home again. This round of chemo overall was a lot easier for me. Physically it is was easier, mentally not so much.Right now however, I am not feeling super, super good. I'm still deeling with some stomach pains. And yet, I am home and am so grateful. Thanks so so much for all your encouragement. After not reading the blog for a few days and now being able to again is so refreshing. Thank you.
Ramona

Ramona & Earl,
So great to hear you are at home again!! It's been difficult to be in BC and not able to come see you but our hearts are with you. Uncle Jake and I think and pray for you many times a day. We pray for a miraculous healing. God is greater than anything we face and He can do more than what we could ever imagine! (Ephesians 3:20). As I have been studying the scriptures there are some verses that have really touched my heart when I’ve been thinking about your situation. It's been on my mind to post this and my prayer is that it will encourage you! Hebrews 11:1 talks about faith, faith is not a human comprehension, it’s belief in the one who can do the impossible, who is mightier than the enemy, the one who only comes to steal and destroy (John 10:10) We must stand and resist the enemy and fight the good fight of faith. This is my prayer.
Christ has given every believer authority, according to their faith and by the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Let us use the power and authority that Christ has given us to pray for your healing Ramona with unmingled doubt in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”(King James) As we wait on the Lord ...”And these signs shall follow them that believe:...;they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.”
May God's will be done and may he be your healer!!

Love & prayers, your aunt, Jeannette

Hey guys,
Soooo glad to hear you are home and doing as well as you are.
Just wanted to share a little God moment I had this morning.... In my devos I was reading the story of when Elijah gathered the prophets of Baal to have the showdown as to who was the True God in the sight of all the people who had turned from God to follow Baal.(1Kings18:18-40) God showed himself so clearly, so powerful and awesome and everyone fell on their faces and acknowledged Him for who He was and their hearts were turned back to Him. Later when I was praying for you I was praying along those lines... realizing the tremendous thing God did thru Elijah's prayer and obedience, how people couldn't help but fall on their face before God and repent and be totally redirected...Wow, praying that none of this struggle of yours would be in vain.. that as you glorify God and as His power is shown, the same kind of stuff would happen ...yet the thought flickered thru my mind, is that too much to hope for? I mean that was Elijah...
well, later in the day I was directed to a sermon on the internet on suffering and the preacher was talking about all the Scriptures that allude to praying for sickness and one was James 5:13-18... and in verse 17 the name 'Elijah' pops up, (as if that ever meant anything to me before today!) but he is used as an example for this very thing!!! And it says that he was a man with a nature just like ours... I couldn't help but blink back some tears, only God knew what I had been reading and praying and thinking... and perhaps doubting...and he spoke clearly that He is that same God with that same heart and desire and that same power and we can call on Him just like Elijah did, in fact that is what He wants!
I love you guys and I will keep praying for you and everyone in your circle of love and influence.
Christy

Earl & Ramona,
I'll add my "welcome home" to the others - I'm glad things are better this time around. I pray this for you often:
"God is able to make all grace abound, so that in all things and at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work." (2 Cor 9:8)
Glad he is able,
Janet
