Home At Last!!!

Wow! I feel like there are no words to describe all the emotions and feelings I have felt in the last hour as I've been lying on my couch reading the blog for the first time in a week. Tears were streaming down my face most of the time as I am just in awe of how God is working. There are so many who are encouraging Earl & I, so many that we don't even know. God is absolutely incredible. To know that God is using such a terrible thing and making good happen is so exciting. It's so much easier to truly say that so far it's been worth it.Yes, Earl & I are home and I am feeling SO good. There are times when I almost forget that I just went through chemo. No, I still don't have tons of energy but I'm not in pain. Thank God for that
I guess the next few days are going to consist of doctor appointments and tests as well planning & preparation as we plan to head to the Mayo Clinic by Mon. Aug. 7. Please pray with us that God guides our plans and preparations as well as the doctors there.
Ramona

To laugh in the face of danger
To sleep when walls are tumbling down
To sing when tears wants to flow and
To walk through the valley of death and not fret:
That is what it means to be a child of God and to know it. Aren't you feeling great that God is your father?
Do you have any worry? Is any shadow blocking your view? You do not need to understand every step of the way, please lift your eyes up and see like I am seeing that God's hand is forming a blanket underneath you, you will not fall, His other hand is forming a shelter over you, the sun will not scotch you. Lean on Him, His arms are protecting you. Sleep like a baby and wake up like a soldier. The battle belongs to God; You are safe!!!

FANTASTIC that you are home - and NO PAIN! That's amazing! It's great to see you writing the blog, Ramona. We have been praying so hard for you and Earl.

Please let us know if there's anything you need to make the trip to Rochester easier. Are you okay financially? We are happy to help in any way we can.

I'm sorry I won't get to meet you when I come to Winnipeg as you will be gone by then, but my sister, Jobina tells me that she came to see you (Ramona, you were sleeping so she talked to Earl) and I'm glad for that.

The comments from your friends and family have been amazing, don't you think? I have been truly inspired by your courage and faith as well as the prayers and praises to the Lord from those who know you. Thank you for starting this blog so that we can continue to pray in unison with you and keep up with what's happening in your lives. We who are far away appreciate the chance to get to know you.

Be well, dear one. God is ever near you, He will never forsake you, He holds you in the palm of His hand and will keep you for eternity - you are His.

Love, Michele

Hi Ramona and Earl,
You don't know me. I heard about you through my daughter (Jobina) and have been praying for you. This weekend I was at a conference in Calgary. Our first speaker was Max Lucado. After he spoke he said he wanted to pray for us in groups. First he asked all single Moms to stand as he prayed for them. Then he asked all who were experiencing illness to stand so I "stood in the gap" for you, Ramona and received prayer for healing for you. God hears all our prayers, but hey, why not Max's too, right?!
May our God of perfect peace carry you in the days ahead.

Ramona and Earl,

I feel blessed to be part of the many who are clinging to the promises and hope of God for both of you! Praise the LORD for providing so many to support and help carry you along the way.

I was encouraged reading in 1 John the other day, and thought of you guys, as I so often do. "There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear." Yeah God for loving you perfectly!

Ramona, I can't wait to be home so I can see you again and hug you and catch up. :) I hope everything goes really well for you guys as you travel next week. Many, many prayers. I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better. God is at work!

Love you, Crystelle

Hello,
You don't know me but I received a prayer request to pray for Ramona and so I've started. Lord I pray for Your name to be glorified in all of this and that Your Mercy and grace would cover Earl and Ramona and that Your mighty hand of healing would be upon her. Lord I pray that you would make every cell in her body function and communicate properly as you meant it to from the beginning. We speak to the cancer in her body to be gone in the mighty name of Jesus amen.
My peayers are with you.
I also feel that I should share some information with you in about glyconutrients and the vital roll they play in cellular communication. I won't go on about it hear but if you are interested in looking at it you can go to www.mannapages.com/manna4everyone
and look into this. There is also a scientific website at www.glycoscience.org. I have some tubs of the glyconutrients that I could give you to take but we would need to apply to a progrem with the Fisher Institute where they would send you large amounts of product at very reduced rates. You would need to fill out some forms and they would monitor your progress.
Please know that I beleive in these products and that my intent is for your well being.

Earl and Ramona, it is your old friend Laurel. Please have a trusted delegate call me back about these comments as SOON as humanly possible. your Reimer dad would be a good candidate, as he has had a ton of schooling; and would probably love to probe this info with you. i have some information you might find helpful. i left my number with jay at your parent's house. the information concerns ramona's speedy recovery from chemo symptoms, and a way for her to possibly build up her immune system to fight the sarcoma from within. after all; God doesn't make junk; and he designed our bodies to heal themselves, right? think of blood clotting processes; how complex are those!! and wounds closing, fevers fighting viruses, etc. the body is amazing; and our God even more so. call me back ASAP!

Hey Earl & Ramona! I wanted to share with you some scripture I was reading last night in my devotions. It is found in Isaiah 40:28-31 ~ "Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. HE will not grow tired or weary, and this understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Hold onto God and his promises, God is ALL Powerful!!! Praying, Viola
