We love pus

We just arrived in the hospital. Ramona is sitting beside me and i'm doing most of the writing (it is hard on her arms and body to be typing right now). Because some sort of substance was leaking from Ramona' s incisional biopsy yesterday, our doctor asked us to come in early. We were both afraid that it was the tumor leaking from the wound. It is a little frightening to see the tumor visibly grow in a matter of a day or two. Anyway, it turns out that the incision is infected and therefore is growing. The surgeons will likely have to open up the wound again tonight or tomorrow morning and remove the pus. Thank God it wasn't the tumor growing so rapidly. That might be some of the reason Ramona was in so much pain the last few days. Chemo is still scheduled for tomorrow morning.
Helpful Information:
Ramona is on the fifth floor of the St. Boniface hospital in the B Wing, Room #1
Visiting hours are :8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The cell phone I am using has a number equalling 641-4017
Humans are welcome to come and visit.
We love you all, thank you so much for the encouragement and prayers
Mony is really looking forward to a delicious supper in a few minutes (cough, cough)
The end
Earl (and Mony who is sitting right beside me)

Hey guys,

You can expect me to drop by either Tuesday morning or Wednesday evening. What's your status in regards to outside food? I have no problem smuggling in some "contraband" for you. ;)

This is bringing back so many memories. The Cancer Care building seemed so scary at first with the word cancer jumping out at us from all over the place. Though my situation was very different, the doctors also weren't quite sure what to do with me and the type of cancer I had. I was so sad and so scared but oh, I am so glad that didn't keep God from healing me. IICor.1:8b-11 were verses given to me by another cancer survivor and they tell my story as well. This cancer survivor(of 9 years!) is praying that the chemo tomorrow will do its job and that it won't make you sick. You are in good, big hands.

Ерфтлы crappers...This thing keeps going Russian on me. What I was trying to say is thanks Earl & Ramona for continually updating us. We feel SOOO far away, but like someone else said, perhaps this makes us pray harder. How I WISH I could come see you Ramona. I love you, and want God's best for you and Earl. Keep going on HIS strength, and I'm praying for 'peace that passes all understanding.'
love you so much

Good day Mr. & Mrs. Reimer
Most likely you don’t know me but that’s not the most important, Jesus is on your side and Holy Spirit is with you. Jas 5:15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven.
Lena and I will continue to pray for both of you and your parents.

Love you guys. Praying like crazy. Missing you at camp. It just doesn't seem right that I'm there and you're not. Hope to drop by sometime this week.

Okay, I'm going to try this blog thing again. Hopefully it works this time! Just wanted to say I'm so glad to hear it was just puss and not the cancer itself growing. You are continually in our thoughts and prayers! We hope to come visit later this week or perhaps the weekend. With much love and hope,

Earl & Ramona,

Just to remind you of the many thoughts toward you--not only from us and many others around the country, but also from God. Your faith is an inspiration. God is with you at all times.
Hope to see you next week. (I'm staying at Grandma's for awhile.)

Praying for you,
