Thankyou for posting those verses in the comments. That is really encouraging.
So...., this morning Dr. Wong comes back and essentially tells Ramona that this infection could be a big deal, and potentially fatal and things like that....and a transfusion needs to be done again...and was kind of....simply not to encouraging. Anyway, the cultures came back shortly after that showing absolutely no infection, for which I am super excited about. It is possible for the cultures to show something in the next few days if something grows..........but really...why go there.....as I'm excited about this news, I guess there is no reason to stop praying. We do realize that anything that does go wrong when you have no white blood cells is serious. Anyway, I had better go back to the hospital to try to speed up the transfusion and the technicalities that go with trying to get out of the hospital.

I just keep praying that Dr.Wong will get to see this patient who he gives little hope, healed completely! Thank you Lord of hope and healing that you are always in control. Please Lord, heal Ramona's body.
You're never far from my thoughts and when I think of you I pray for you. Continuing to trust Jesus for a miracle...
Love,
Mandy
"When the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified, and said, "it is a ghost!" And they cried out in fear. But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, "Take courage, it is I; DO NOT BE AFRAID."
Peter said to Him, "Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water." And He said, "Come!" And Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, "Lord, save me!" Jesus stretched out His hand and took hold of him, and said to him, "You of little faith, why did you doubt?" When they got into the boat, the wind stopped. And those who were in the boat worshiped Him saying, "you are certainly God's Son!"
Our little church community (Vineyard in Elmwood) has been doing a 24-7 prayer room in our garage this week. Know that you are at the heart of some of the prayers going up to the Father. A portion of a verse that really struck me yesterday while in the prayer room was from Eph. 3:20- "Now to him who is able to do IMMEASURABLY MORE than all we ask OR IMAGINE..." (the emphasis is mine). I was really struck by that, because I ask God to do all sorts of things, and just that He can do more than is measurable, more than I can ask, more than I dare to dream...that is a cool God!! That is an amazing God . And we continue to approach Him in His throne room as his Beloved and plead for the things on our hearts- which are also the things on HIS heart.
We continue to pray with you...
Christa Massey (who stopped by with that little package from Jacquie Roberts the other day- just so you have a face for my name :) lol)
We love you and are lifting you up to God every day (together with our kids who have such sincere concern and also such sincere faith!)
WE pray that everyone will see firsthand how GREAT God is through healing you and rescuing you, your lives are such a testimony.
Our hearts break for you in this intense battle.... Jesus please carry Earl and Ramona and their families through this fire.
Chris and Jake
Ps.103:1-4
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion.
Please keep posting updates so that we can pray and know how Ramona and you are doing.
Hi guys, sorry we couldn't stick around. It sounded like you'd been waiting for that nurse for awhile. We waited for 1/2 an hour, but had to get home. The kids didn't have keys to get in after school.
You looked good Ramona.
Bye for now. Linda (& grandma)
Our little prayer room has led me to Deuteronomy of all places!!
This is what I have been reminded of "Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands." Deut. 7:9
and Isaiah 46:4
"Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you."
Father, would you carry these two as individuals and as a couple, nurturing them and meeting them with your faithfulness where they need you. Heal Ramona Lord, in Your mercy, hear our prayers.
Jacquie
HI You 2, Today we stopped by St.B to pick up a prescription from Dr Wong and just before we arrived and were listening to CHVN the song "Keep the Candle Burning" by Point of Grace played. I couldn't help but think of you as you are never far away from my thoughts Here are the lyrics...which I hope you can draw strength from.
You think you're alone
There in your silent storm
But I've seen the tears you've cried
Falling down and trying to drown
The flame of hope inside
Let me tell you now, tell you now
CHORUS:
When you're walking in the dead of night
When your soul is churning
When your hope seems out of sight
Keep the candle burning
All it takes is one steady heart
In a world that's turning
Shine a light and pierce the dark
Keep the candle burning
Keep the candle burning
When you're down and you're discouraged
When the darkness clouds your view
You've got to gather up your courage
You know the Lord is gonna see you through
Let me tell you now
Tell You now
I believe the Lord is with you and has the power and strength to see you through this safely and in restored health.
Gather up your courage
Debbie
hi guys.
i read a few verses the other day that i want to share with you.
behold the eye of the lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
to deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
our soul waiteth for the lord: he is our help and our shield.
for our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
let thy mercy, o lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee. ps.33,18-22..
praying for you...
Earl and Ramona,
You are in my prayers daily and at times hourly. I pray that the Lord will heal you. also my prayer is that Dr. Wong might see the grace of God through all this and then also make a commitment to the Lord.
Lorrie
