Thank you

I just wanted to thank all of you for the phone calls, emails and comments on the blog. It is once again amazing how many prayers are going upward on our behalf. It's been really encouraging for me to sense that Earl & I are not at all in this alone-we have a huge Christian community backing us up.
Earl & I have both for the most part experienced a lot of peace today. Thanks for your prayers.
-Ramona

My heart aches for you--these are not the answers that we prayed for. Tho it sounds trite, "God is still on the Throne". I noticed your comment about how no one is guaranteed a tomorrow. Hits me when I think of how Bryan & Kathy lost their Mom yesterday morning. So sudden, so shocking: 64 yr old. God is not watching your situation or Mrs Dyck's & muttering "oops, didn't see that coming" We're still praying,co

Yes our life is not in our hands tho we would so like it to be at times.God does not tell us WHY he lets us go through what we need to go through. And sometimes its just plum hard trusting. Yes Ramona it is actually amazing that you are still here with us. I pray you will simply be able to lay down in Gods arms and rest in what He has ahead for you.He never promised an easy life but He promised He would be there right beside us,I just pray you will be able to feel His everlasting arms beneath you hour by hour.Be still and know that I am God He says right? My prayers are with you - Wilma

Oh Moni! I sit here at a loss for words and my heart aches for you and Earl. Dale says today, he will keep praying for you and wants you to get better. He believes Jesus will listen to his prayers. I know you are going through so much right now.I wish I could hug you now! Stay strong Ramona and fight. Use all of that "Petkau" self-determination!I do not believe your work here is done! You have so much left to teach people and so many lives left untouched! Keep the faith and remember we are praying for you and so many others are doing the same! I love you Ramona and I am amazed at your courage and strength so far! You set an example for how a Godly woman should be, and I don't come close to that! I could learn a thing or two from you my dear niece!
Hope to see you at Easter, if not sooner!
Love Auntie Lori, Uncle Ray , Dale and Baby Emery.

Hello Ramona and Earl. This morning I was reading Psalm 27 and I thought of you and prayed for you. I hope this Psalm may encourage you, especially the last 2 verses. "Here is something I am still sure of. I will see the Lord's goodness while I'm still alive. Wait for the Lord. Be strong and don't lose hope. Wait for the Lord." (NIrV)

hello We are thinking of you and praying. First that you would experence his peace and His presence, (even more than healing). Secondly we are praying for a miraclous healing. ... We are taking a course at Rosenberg, called, "How to Hear God's Voice." It's exciting to learn. Four keys; 1) Quiten our hearts 2) Fix our eyes on Jesus 3)Listen to spontaneous thoughts/visions/dreams 4)journaling. God tells me that He loves me, unconditionally...Jeff your okay... I have a purpose and destiny for you. Sometimes I get pictures, perhaps during praise and worship..once when we were singing the song with the phrase.." by His spirit I'll fly like an eagle'"... I pictured a friend who was facing a mountain...one day you will see that mountain like an eagle sees the earth, simply a speck. Earl and Romona, Be encouraged even today!! Keep fighting the good fight! jeff and cindy plett fisher branch

Hi guys,
Thanks for being so real and vulnerable on the blog. As your friends it's hard on the heart to hear the cries of yours but we're also so thankful that you so openly share your journey and let us get a glimpse of how God is working in your lives. It is so deeply inspiring. I don't think you have any idea how huge of an influence and testimony you are. THere are no words sufficient to describe that or even my own feelings toward you. We never stop praying for you and hope like crazy that the love and truth of Christ will keep pouring out of your lives as it has to sooo many people in the past (peers, kids at home, campers at BCBC, kids in Haiti, fellow students in U/Coll., pretty much everyone who's been in touch with you guys! including us......) and as it is now to everyone surrounding you and that you'll be able to have tons more opps in the future to pursue those dreams that God's placed in your hearts. You are incredibly special people and we love you guys. Tears are the only words sometimes.
Love Chris and Jake
