Thanks so much for the encouraging comments and even reminding us of stuff we've said before. We have an incredible team of prayer warriors around us. There are hundreds of you reading this and praying for Ramona/us/the family. It's amazing to know that when we're to tired to even think...you are praying.

Somebody had an excellent idea of posting specific prayer requests...
- we can see that the tumor on the left leg has grown significantly in the last few weeks
- it's easy for Ramona to be sort of anxious after essentially laying still for 11 days straight
- shortness of breath
- Ramona is very exhausted much of the time

Our list of things/people to be thankful for is also huge...including that Jill updates our blog when I don't feel like writing anymore... :)

Blessings,
Earl

(We actually have internet access in Ramona's room now!)

Just keep it up. Don't give up hope. GOD has a great plan. As we experienced once when the doctors had given up, and we had no idea what to do next, GOD SENT THE MIRACLE. Don't give up!

Keep up the faith, don't give up. I truly believe when there is absolutely no hope He our God will perform a miraculous healing. You two have been a great encouragement to whom ever has tuned into your blog. I know God is smiling over you, His beautiful children. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. When I am weak, then He is strong. John & Anne-Marie

Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise Him again - my Savior and my God! Ps 42:5

A few of the verses that we heard on Sunday that I want to share with you. "All praise to the God and Father of our Master, Jesus the Messiah! Father of all mercy! God of all healing counsel! He comes alongside us when we go through hard times ... We have plenty of hard times that come from following the Messiah, but no more so than the good times of his healing comfort—we get a full measure of that, too." 2 Cor. 1:3-5

Earl and Ramona,
Last week as I was driving (right near your parent's house Earl)I was praying for you - with my eyes open :)and as I prayed a bald eagle flew right over the car. As I watched his mighty wings I couldn't help but think of God's promise in Isaiah...
30 Even youths grow tired and weary,and young men stumble and fall;
31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint. We are praying and hoping in the Lord. We are trusting Him to be your strength.

Earl and Ramona and families,
I am looking at Psalm 61:1 and I pray with you, "God, listen to me shout, bend an ear to my prayer. When I'm far from anywhere, down to my last gasp, I call out, "Guide me up High Rock Mountain!" and Psalm 62:1 "God, the one and only- I'll wait as long as He says, Everything I need comes from Him, so why not? He's solid rock under my feet, breathing room for my soul..."(message)
You are in my prayers...
Gloria

Earl and Ramona, as I was praying for you today, I was led to a book I have and remember the advise it gives to those who are weary and in great struggle. The writer says to allow music and God's word in 'psalms, hymns and spiritual songs' to minister to us in the moments when we are too tired to read, too exhausted to pray. Songs keep the evil spirits at bay who would like to sneak in under the door and torment us with doubts and whispers. But they have to flee when Jesus is being glorified (Exodus 15:1-2), "I will sing to the Lord for He has triumphed gloriously! The horse and rider He has thrown into the sea." Song was present at creation, God tells Job38:(1a&7), that 'the morning stars sang together'. There is great power in music. It is a powerful way of connecting us to the Creator. If it is appropriate,(& maybe this is what you are doing), have music playing & allow God to give you His 'song in the night'. Ps 77:4-6.
