Wednesday afternoon when we drove away from HSC it kind of felt like waking up from a really bad dream. With her pain roughly under control, Ramona was discharged with the plan of seeing Dr. Wong Thursday to discuss the CT results. Radiation never happened, the tumor appeared too large on the X-ray

We got the CT results yesterday. A few of the tumors have shrunk but there is a tumor on the right side of her chest that has grown to 12cm in length. This 12 cm tumor also looked like it was bleeding into itself. This may be part of the explanation of coughing up blood and a hemoglobin of 63 (Ramona has since been transfused 4 units of red blood cells).

Dr. Wong is currently looking at bringing in an experimental chemo, in case Ramona wants to try it. It may take a few weeks to make that happen. Chemo is canceled for next week.

Today is the first day in the last week that hasn't involved some time in a hospital.

Anyway....We love to be in an atmosphere of hope. It's an exhausting mistake to have any belief that the grim reality presented in a hospital is somehow more true than the reality of the Kingdom of God.

After watching Louie Giglios how great is our GOD video, I feel very small and very tiny. I cannot even put it into words, they just do not exist.
So I do not know what he is waiting for when so many people have bin praying for his healing touch for such a long time. It seems as though he has forgotten everyone, but, when I look at you guys and see your faith in him, our GOD, I know that something very big and powerful is at work. For know one could go through what guys are going through and still trust in GOD without something supernatural taking place.
JESUS who is GOD died for our sins along time ago. Now he is holding both of you Earl & Ramona in his arms with love and that is why you have trusted in him so long.
you are his bride and he will not let go of you. I still believe he will heal Ramona when the time is right and i will keep on praying.
God be with you
your brother in Christ Jake.

Earl, I read and re-read the last paragraph you wrote, and I couldn't agree with you more!! There are many, many people praying for you here; the passionate, believing prayers of the African people echo your last statement.
Much love, much peace and much joy to you, something that in the midst of this battle is possible only in and through Jesus Christ, the OVERCOMER!!! Rosel

Earl and Ramona, James wants you to know you are on his mind and in his prayers. He's wearing his 'helmet of hope' especially for you tonight.

Romans 8:26 "the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express"
How then do I think I could ever find the right words? But here is a verse that was given to Mary by a friend:
Isaiah 41:13 "For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you."

Hey guys,
May your spirits continue to be lifted up by the truth that God IS - He is with you, He is mighty to save, He is a God of miracles and wonders, He is a God of love, He is the Creator, He is the God who raised Jesus from the dead, He is the King of kings and Lord of lords, He is the God who heals, the God who provides for all our needs, the God of peace.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." Prov. 3:5-6

I have never left a comment before but today I thought it important to do so. I stumbled upon your blog over a year ago and read it fairly regularly; So, I just wanted to let you know that though I am a stranger to you, we are together in the Lord's family and I think about you and pray for you often. Praying and believing for healing.
