Tomorrow is the big day! Part of me tries to block it out and yet really I have quite a lot of peace. Somehow I really think that my CT will show that my tumors have shrunk significantly again. I remember the last time that I had a CT, I was lying on the stretcher praying like crazy that it would show good things. And sure enough that test showed that my tumors were responding to the chemo. That was 3 rounds of chemo ago and I'm really hoping for the same result. I have to be in Selkirk by 9:00 but my scan is only at 10:30.
So many are praying and I firmly believe that God is so capable of doing whatever He chooses with that test. Thank you for joining Earl & I in praying.
Just a little side note: Last week I got super excited because my eyebrows are growing back. This week I noticed that my eyelashes were also coming. No they were never all completely gone, but pretty close. My head hair....well I'm getting pretty impatient. I've got more 'fuzz' than I used to but I'm not sure you can call it hair. It's white and the current discussion is if I'm going to have blonde hair or if it'll be brown like before. :) Yesterday in the mall I took off my toque for awhile and Becki, (my sister) did a lookout to see how many people would stare. It doesn't bother me as much as it used to so it really was quite funny.

Hi guys,
just want to encourage you to continue to hold on to God's hand. He knows exactly which way to lead you. He will grant you the strength for each step thru these tests. We are anticipating great results, so looking at it that way, it's an exciting week!
Love Linda & family
Just thought I'd let you know that Im thinking and praying for you, I hope you continue to have peace and strength to face tomorrow, i love you guys!
hey guys
Just wanted you to know that I too will be joining you in prayer tomorrow, and in the week to come as you wait to hear the results of the test. Praying for that peace to just keep on flowing through your veins.
love you
Karlene
I too will mention you in earnest prayer. Be still and know that I AM GOD saith the Lord! I will pray that He will surround you with peace whatever He has in store for you HE cares for you, Lean on Him! What a friend we have in Jesus! I hope you update us as soon as you can what the outcome is because total strangers do care also even tho we don't know you personally.
I just said Hailey's prayers with her before I put her to bed (my 1 1/2 year old daughter)...I have included you in the people we pray for each night to be healed from their cancer and this night (Hailey always snuggles into my chest and puts her head on my shoulder) when I said your name she popped up her head and said "Mona!" I just thought I would share that with you as I thought it was special that she is catching on to the people we pray for together.
Praying that you will continue to feel peace about the test tomorrow...God is going right along with you to the appointment and He won't leave your side no matter what.
Hey Earl and Ramona,
Just want you to know that you have my prayers, extreme love, and undying support! You're both amazing, and I know God'll reward you for all the encoragment you've given me and love you've shown for me in my life!
You're an inspiration!
"Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen!" Eph.3:20-21
Im praying for you Ramona!

wish we could know the results as soon as that test is done tomorrow, but that too shall come... since i'll be at work i obviously won't be w/ you in body tomorrow. but you can bet i'll be there in spirit! my student/s may wonder what's wrong w/ me all morning, but my distance from them will only be b/c i'm praying and praying for you! i'm sorry it didn't work out to see you yesterday, but you were off galavanting in the mall as you should be! i did that today actually...
anyway, i'm off... i pray blessings over you,

dayna
Ramona & Earl: I still follow your blogs but regained new energy to pray for y'all after spending time in RIverton with my family. Tonight we got the BEST news from my friend also suffering cancer---her chemo worked & she is once again sched. for a bone marrow transplant. I will pray for you often esp. tomor that your news will be AS GOOD, that your hearts will be filled with a strange & unexplainable peace that only God can give. He loves you still, He always will. (btw, this blog comment page is such a testimony of faith filled Christians---way to go www!)
Hey guys
I guess you're almost on your way to Selkirk by now. Prayers and blessings on you as you go for the test and wait for the results. Funny how we go to science to find out what God's been doing. Very cool. Love you. Miss you. And hope to see you here in Toronto very soon. ;)
Prayers
Joanna
i'm prayin for you guys

God's put such an amazing, strong spirit in both of you!I pray that in Jesus' name the tumors will have shrunk, and continue to shrink! God is so capable and mighty but were asked to humble ourselves under his mighty power..and He will honour you..He cares soo much for us and even tells us to give all our worries to him!Stay strong.
I've been thinking and praying for you today guys. And Ramona, like I've said, I'm here to do your hair for you ASAP! We're learning haircuts this month, but I guess what might be even more applicable is that we learned how to trim eyebrows today!!
Hey, miss you and love you.
Melis
So good to hear that you are finally having the CT scan. I know you have already had it by now, I will still be praying for the results.
It's good to hear that your eyebrows and lashes are growing back. My hair looked a bit lighter too when it first grew back, but it got darker again.
