The day after the funeral was our anniversary. Among other things that day, Jake and I went to the forks to see what Ramona and I had carved on the bridge. We actually carved something like this on our first date...but I think someone painted over it and Ramona and I couldn't find our original scratches...so this one was carved sometime within the last year and a half......

Mony I miss you so much...

I just got through my giant stack of cards from the funeral. Thanks for all the love that's been sent my way in the last while...

THE BROKEN CHAIN

We little knew that morning that God was going to all your name,

In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone,

For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide,

And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same,

But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

Earl ,Just wanted you to know we lifted up you & your families once again at our small little church. It's small, but BIG in prayer.Thank you for allowing me to share the pictures with my prayer group.
I read the tribute that Ang gave .It was very touching.THANK YOU Jill :) for posting that also. You are a sweety for helping out "MANY" times with the updates, when Earl was too tired. How much he must of appreciated that.I'm sure too much for words...Jill I know there are many that have appreciated your updates too.Me for one! :) Please be encouraged by that...Just being able to here your tribute,& how strong you came across,I think the other friends need someone like you to hold each other up with that Christ like love.God will bless you for giving your time in this.Continue to let Him use you, when you feel your needed..
